Welcome toHarmonia Village
Make an enquiryEnabling people living with dementia to live as independently as possible
Harmonia Village offers nursing care in six separate houses, each of which looks like a regular residential home, equipped with technology to enable people living with dementia to be cared for in a safe but non-intrusive way 24 hours a day.
Specialist Dementia Care in a Unique Environment
Our facilities, combined with the open garden space, mean that the village is uniquely equipped to support residents who might have found it difficult to settle in more traditional care home settings.
Our team is equipped to provide dedicated 24 hour nursing care, so that residents can remain as independent as possible, whilst knowing that they will not need to move even if their care needs increase.
Serving the Community
Harmonia Village is accessible to residents on all types of funding and is suitable for all types of dementia.
There is also an exciting programme of daily activities for residents to choose from in the Village Hub, so that their social needs, as well as their care needs, can be met. The Hub's café serves homemade food on a daily basis, so that residents are given the opportunity every day to leave their residences for a meal out.
Visitors and relatives are welcome to enjoy the facilities and activities in the village at any time with no requirements for booking ahead.

Celebrating Exceptional Care
Every year, we recognise the exceptional care of the people who work at Harmonia Village at our Care Awards. We identify those who go above and beyond, by giving an award to two individuals, one voted for by relatives, and one voted for by our Registered Manager.
Working in Partnership
The village is owned by NHS East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust and was built using funding from the Interreg 2 Seas programme 2014-2020, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
